it is a good dictionary! I have only used jwpce and edict because it shows in kana and kanji. however it does not support romaji, so thumbs up for mahou!

Well anime is just short for animation so it is cartoons really.. just that the term "cartoons" has childish connotations, while anime is for all ages.
