TBH their FPS results seem rather low in general even for the ATI, I'd say there's something seriously wrong with their test system in general, not just in terms of the nVidia specific tests.OohhoO wrote:Here's one:-

The 7950GT is in there

Also I've noticed something about that site previously where their tests were questionable, I think there was an article on Slashdot about it maybe 6months back I just can't recall what exactly it was.
Edit: NM found out why, page 1 of the review:
"Again keep in mind that we’re testing the NVIDIA cards with the image quality setting at “High Quality” mode rather than the driver default setting of “Quality”. We’ve noted that the HQ setting significantly reduces the amount of texture shimmering in games such as Battlefield 2. This change does negatively impact NVIDIA’s performance, but it’s a tweak many NVIDIA users seem to be doing with their own cards so we’re doing it too."
They're intentionally crippling the nVidia card's performance without making the same change on the ATI (if the ATI even supports it). Texture shimmering is a fault of the game engine and so the HQ setting is a driver option that will allow the drivers and card to correct a common programming fault in the engine at real time which does indeed lower the possible FPS.
Also I remembered what this site was getting slated for previously, it was one that gave reviews claiming that the KillerNIC network card could improve pings by like 40ms, which frankly is physically impossible unless somehow it can make packets go faster than the speed of light and modify every router across the internet to parse packets faster so as to remove latency so it's pretty clear this site has taken bribes for good reviews previously too
