G'day Folks,
A little post to find out whats likely to come out in the next year or so and which of those games r likely to be a success. I have been looking forwards to Dark'n'Light and Darkfall, though Darkfall now seems to have died, and DnL looks like it is trying to incorporate so much that if they get it right it'll be the next step, but it could also go horribly wrong with bugs and crashes if they get it wrong.
Also another one to keep your eyes on if Ages of Athiria, another in depth game that could well do very well.
So what about anyone else, anythign decent coming out soon?
Sax.
What if anything are you looking forwards to?

Erekose, Witch Hunter,
Undead Warlock,
Dwarf Skald,
Celt Champion,
Sho UA, Life & Item

I'd put my bets on
Vanguard for PvE
Warhammer for PvP
Vanguard comes out in 2006, made by authors of EQ and backed up with Microsoft's money I think it has a good chance to succeed.
Warhammer... well we know all about that, right?
Dark and Light... well I think Frenchies are overestimating theirselves. While I like the idea about one single server for everyone, I simply do not believe a small country with small advertisment budget can make that idea sucesfull. I mean, DAoC world is designed with 3000 players in mind, and on underpopulated servers with 1/3 of this number gameplay is severly affected. I cannot imagine how they can create world in size of 40.000 sq km, while they have no idea how many players will actualy play the game...
