When we had the old Hib forums and keeps were under attack or there was a RR attack against us, people made shouts to come help them. Nobody ever complained, it was normal to help out ur realm.

Any war there ever was, people used all kinds of stuff to communicate and ask for help. Did u expect Ladder to send out pigeons or make smoke signals??
I think not, and afaik Pryd.net has never been a 3d party program, radar is.

Last few weeks DAoC population has dropped a lot already, if u really want people get banned, u'll soon have enough time for a RR, cause there won't be any defence anymore except guards, byebye rps

This has always been done, no1 ever complained, don't start it now, cause u lost AGAIN against the smallest realm

Him posting about the RR is no big deal imo...I doubt ppl enter the forum and read the post only to dash into the game. Tbh the ones that came to defend was the ones already online...with some very small exceptions if you count the ones that came online during the actual defence. This is a silly discussion imo..

Yes, I do know the rules about third party programs but if this one had anything to do with the mids getting beaten I'd like to see proof of it ...
Very few had viewed the post until we started talking about how wrong it was anyway.

I'd like to add that I've never cheated in any game and I've never read a post like Ladders only to log on to daoc in panic to defend.. (incase you planned on asking)

Even if Ladder's post would have made Ankh come online, it wouldn't make a lot of difference, he's a ranger running around with Cyclopse Eye Shield!! :poke:

Don't think he should have done it, but no need to make a big drama out of it....flames were already up and thors mighty hammer plastered all over the the map.

agree, was the wrong thing to do, whether or not it had an effect on the rr itself or not. seems it was just a little lack of thought on his part. mids didnt succeed because hibs played better (or because of the 7 billion actively played in rvr that only the enemy can see rr15 animists)....... not because of this thread.

Can only agree with mids about this, utter stupid relic blabber, and not first time i see Ladder do it, think he done it pretty much on shout when we had that, and doing that is also against CoC.
May i remind all peeps that they have agreed to a CoC that is against this form of communication, and all should try think twice before shouting all over the boards about ingame events.

Was nice to see another attempt by Mids today.
Was only spoiled as we reacted fast and took down your siege all the time you built it.

There is some big flaw in your tactic but as a Hib I won't tell the Mids what they are doing wrong.
