I think it looks quite normal for such intense colouring + its covered with a plastic film which won't absorb any of the blood. I't looks worse than it is.

True true, I usually hang out at the tattoo studio when bored so Ive seen this result a couple of time..but using salva/vaselin before wrapping it up usually reduce the blood flow abit.
I was with Valky when he had his done and he did put vaseline on it before the foil. But I was bit surprised he used foil tho cos he never used that with me.

The fool is very good since the tattoo will heal faster if you have the foil on for 4-5 hours or so. Reason the foil is used is cos your pores are open and vaseline+reducing the amount of oxygene it gets will close them faster.
