Yeah, get em to help us...they will fire 20.000 bullets throw a bunch of grenades and then their opponents give up without getting hit :P

GOAs stance on blabbing about relic raids over forums and IRC etc is that it is a breach of the CoC, though they can realistically do nothing about it unless it's ingame.

However, since NF it's alot easier to tell if there's a relic raid going on no matter where it is and who is it against, simply look at the /rw map and spot the large blue/green/red symbol hovering near a keep with a relic in it... so the only thing that can be said about relic raid blabbing now is that the only real affect it could have is if it's done prior to the raid...

Tricky one to call imo, but as I said, GOA have let it be known that, at least in OF, rr blabbing over the likes of IRC/Forums is frowned upon, imo simply for the fact that it can be viewed as some sort of grief play against the raiding forces...

Exactly what I've been saying , it's wrong and should be looked down upon... but all those people saying "ban" arent being realistic/reasonable. And as for all those (many) who are defending ladder just because he's a "hib", your stance of this is worse than all the clueless ones who have been spurting off rubbish about the CoC they don't have a clue about.

Think the point is that posting on forums will let alot of peeps who are not online know what is going on, and if you are not online, you can hardly do /rw, can you?

OK so please explain in your wisdom and infinite knowledge where the statement is so we can clear this up and close the thread. Why can't you back your claims up with citations freom the CoC? I have tried to find things that are against the CoC and for the life of me I cannot find it. If I am irgnorant and stupid prove it?

Maybe GOA have said so aside from the CoC - if I am so thick please enlighten me without being ignorant about it. If I have insulted you or anyone here I apologise for that but your flames are doing nothing to clear this up other than to pour oil on the wood.

For your information I am not defending anyone I am asking for you to demonstrate in plain English with citations from the CoC which I might add was first cited as the reason someone should be banned. If I am so clueless then explain why. There is little point dropping in to spout off a couple of lines about something without taking the time to prove that your stance is correct.

Hrymf,

I agree with you but this in itself is not a breach of the code of conduct. The code of conduct clearly states in all instances that modifictions to the game code and interface to give an in game advantage from the inside are definitely breaches of the CoC. That is very clear - simple GCSE english would be enough to understand it. They do not cover the use of external information/discussion on community boards such as this. They even encourage occassional co-operation - why else woudl they say it? :eek2:

Perhaps there are hidden rules and community norms about cross realming? But they are definitively not in the CoC at Mythic's site - maybe GOA have their own somewhere? Please help me locate it so I can see for myslef.

That said maybe you should all consider that an open realm discussion/debate and occassional cross team might actually prove much more interesting for the game? Rather than the closed doors we currently live under....

Most of the mids I have met on these forums have been stand up people - and I enjoy discussing/reading their perspective. It is not surprising that the odd couple, for whatever reason, do not want to have a open discussion with clear evidence. I am left to think that there isn't any and that they simply are left with some weird kind of axe to grind.

As for the RvR it has never been better now we all seem to be much closer in RR levels - last night frantic action at Beno was excellent and I had a thoroughly enjoyable time.

kind regards

Well lets call it norms and morals then, but i sure dont think it helps the overall cummunity on prydwen to tell on a relid raid event outside game, and surely not when we all can see how bad mids have it allready, so how is this in anyway good?

I said thay GOA could only realistically act on it if it is done ingame, and since people ingame have access to /rw, they can just tell if a rr is happenning anyway and the impact of rr blabbing ingame has lessenned since NF was released.
