saying 'i hope you die' is a heck of alot different to actually getting the bullet and gun to shoot them with to make your hopes come true.

saying you hope someone does something doesnt make it true therefore warning is needed as its not nice to wish death on anyone no matter how nasty

However if you get the gun and shoot them you have effectivaly created a paradox where your hopes are no longer hopes but fact and swift judgement needs to be layed upon thy person and yey there shalt be smiting and..

I think such an immature behaviour should have some consequences, what kind of example does that give people if a mod acting like that is tolerated? Seem to be alot of Naive people in this thread :s

I have not seen anyone suggest that the comment should either be tolerated or should not have consequences.

The difference seems to be that some people think Xest should be treated the same as everyone else and others seem to think that there should be different rules either for Xest alone or perhaps for all mods.

Kind of hard to suddenly say that Xest or mods should be treated differently and then act retrospectively imo but perhaps I am on of those niaive people you mention.
