Gnaarrraagrrrng! I've been _trying_ to watch some Gundam Seed lately seeing that people seem to like it so much. So far I've tortured myself through the 9 first episodes and figured Im gonna find out what im watching this for before going through more.

What I think so far:
Music\sound: No likable music and average sound.

Characters: Below average. Everyone seems sad all the time and all they say is "but". Close to none character depth. Dont get any feel for any of the characters at all. :\

Story: Dont relly know much about it yet, but it seems slow atelast...

Animation: the fights are horrible. Wosh wosh, shooting lazar witch misses, wosh wosh, cant see whats happening, cant see any good piloting, wouldnt care if anyone died. Other then that its decent enough.

Only mechas I've seen beside this is NGE witch was likewise crappy and FMP witch I liked alot more. FMP has much more likable characters, better action, animation and fun factor.

I hardly think I dont like it because its mecha. Since probably many of you like GDS and NGE, please tell me what im missing. I want to like it.

edit: I should probably mention that I never finished NGE (will do sometime) and havent watched any other Gundam than this. So I dont really know what I missed...

I liked Gundam Seed Destiny more

One episode i really liked involved 2 capiital ships battleing funky story and animation.

its handy to have watched the whole of Gundam Seed, your get a insight into the characters etc. But Destiny has a new main character

I don't like it

It's not for me at all

NGE was alright but wasn't my kinda thing, GS/GSD just seem boring to me, the few episodes that I watched. Maybe they get better eventually, but tbh, I doubt it

Been playing Figures of Happiness recently, it's by angelsmile, same people who made Heart de Roommate. I quite liked it too, and it's not as sad as roommate was (tho it's a bit sad still at certain bits)..

Wish they'd sub more gun x sword :< I wanna see more! and hmm, my dad's on holidays in the US for 2 weeks atm, and he's bought me 15 vols of various manga while there <o/ Woot etc!!

Gun x sword eh, I watched one episode, but even if it was kinda kewl I thought it was bit too... bleh. Found the little girl especially annoying and summoning a robot out of nowhere when he has just walked helplessly through the dessert. But what do I know, I'll finish it sometime I guess.

Been watching abit One Piece subbed by XeNo-HK, whoever that is. MAN THATS TERRIBLE SUBS! Subber managed to change every name in the series (eg. Luffy is Roofy, OMFGZ!) and subs some things different from episode to episode, and sentences often seem way out of place. :\ Video quality isnt great either :<.
Ah well, I've never been to picky on that point, as long as I get the meaning.

Story has its ups and downs as usual. Hell Fansubs are subbing eps from around 180- 206 atm (already have some 206+) though its kinda secret so dont tell anyone

Chopper = Joeb
Sanji = Haggis
Zoro = Solon
Robin = Bao (!!)

Twas an okay movie, would of liked it more if I could remember ff7 better I guess.. they made cloud seem too powerful in relation to the others tbh tho!! (and how did they all get up the tower faster than him to boost him

Because he fell back down while the others were climbing. You could say, how did they know the bahamut was gonna fly all the way up?

Because the are skilled, and they where right weren't they?

Also, Cloud was always intended to be more powerful than the other in the game and usually was. I mean, Cloud has the #1 badass sword ever, I've actually come to love his new one even better then the old one (looky avatar) and Omnislash?! Gawd its so sexeh!

And yeah, all that stuff about Zack, Jenova, the acients etc etc is pretty hard to remember if you played the game 8 years ago. You owe it to the game to replay it imo.
