right you are I counted Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec Jan plus 12 days.. but you are correct 4 months it is. :)

yea

loads of peeps got that message regarding the accounts being closed

I suspect its probably so they can concentrait on the players who are still paying for the account i.e showing a teeny bit of loyalty to them ;)

but please dear peeps dont let this start the flames :( i cant take it!!! :paranoid:

well i find the reply from GOA quite amusing tbh..

That is quite possibly part of the reason, thought I think it's not loyality. It is probably that there is no benefit to the owner of a closed account if the items are restored. However, they really should have said that in the reply.

A better reply would have been something like:

Greetings,

Thanks for the report. We came to restore your items today and found that the account was closed. In order that we use our time efficiently, we are concentrating on open accounts and when they are completed, we will return to closed accounts. If you still wish to have your items replaced, update this report and we will be pleased to replace the items that you have lost immediately as you are at the top of queue. Alternatively, you can update this report when you re-open your account.

TBH yes grimly.

Lair, that is possible however, if someone decides to quit DAoC for half a year (and many people do at this state of the game), it will be harder for both the customer and GOA to open this issue 1 year after the incident, so it should be in their best interest to fix this issue ASAP.

And giving active customers a priority is laughable - how can there be a priority list 4 months after this happend :P
