I love cooking and when sharing a household I usually make the kitchen my department (including washing up). I have my own specialities but will take on most styles of cooking and although I'm a fake veggie (I eat fish) I'm not squeamish about cooking meat (prefer not to though unless it can be proved it was free range and not factory farmed).

i once boiled an egg for over 1hr (yes the water was boiling before i put the egg in) and it was still runny yolk inside
not bad considering it was sposed to be hard boiled

however - frying sausages/eggs i am a goddess :Dbjump:

not talking about boiling an egg ... cos i struggle with that aswell sometimes. But everytime i tell him to try something its always: I cant do that... Ofc you cant if you never try it! I think mine is a stereotype man ... I have to ask him to do something to then eventually do it myself cos he either forgot or doesnt wana do it....

Can cook & love doing it. Yet to poison anyone & most people seem to like it (though I'm never again doing the dinner parties of 20 people I used to do up until a couple of years ago).

Strangely enough I find it very relaxing & prefer to cook than actually eat (no it's not because of the taste when I've finished!!).
