Just in the end of the clip he says (who is FOR theese camps)

"which is going to transalte into much healthier adults who are more able to be in respectfull dialogue and come alongside with people who disagree with them"

I have met ONE single religious person in my entire life that was able to hold a "respectfull" conversation with me.

Gandelf are you a healthy adult who are able to do the above?

Gandelf not having time to discuss properly is bs, he's posted in this thread enough, the last 5 posts he made alone would've given him time to answer at least some of the questions properly if he'd done so instead of proving more and more how wrong he is about it all. As I've said throughout the thread, the fact he hasn't been able to answer any questions at all is evidence enough about how he has nothing but blind faith and ignorance to go on

I watched the trailer for the first time there now and to be honest I can't see what all the fuss is about. You all seem very melodramatic to me - don't get too caught up in reporting formats and think that this is like some sort of Christian Jihad. This sort of thing has been going on for generations.

Some of us grew up in very similar backgrounds to these kids. I went to camps similar to that throughout my childhood. The world won't end to be honest just because there are Jesus camps.

If you want to get really serious about the debate then you ought to sit down and engage much more closely with the deep seated problems of unwavering faith. Things like the total fatalism that comes from holiness teaching might be a better subject than the existence or not of God.

I am happy I had sane parents that never sent me to some damn Jesus camp, if that would have happend I probably would have hatet them for the rest of my life.

my parents are very 'sane' and care deeply about the world and those in it. I might not have the faith they do but I admire and respect their sincerity. They would not force their views on you or anyone else.

Now can I ask why you feel the need to call them 'insane'?

I see a kind of violence in your statement.
